JEF Malta is a non-partisan youth NGO and political movement, as well as a senate-recognised student organisation at the University of Malta. As part of JEF Europe, a non-partisan federalist movement with over 13,000 members across more than 30 countries, JEF Malta connects young people locally and internationally in the pursuit of a more united and democratic Europe. Our mission is to promote awareness and engagement in European affairs, bringing Europe closer to young people in Malta. We work to bridge the gap between policymakers and youth, advocating for a stronger, more integrated Europe that reflects the voices of its citizens.

At JEF Malta, we organise a variety of activities, including debates, interactive workshops, and social events, all aimed at fostering dialogue on European integration. We also host a European Union simulation named IDE, encouraging active participation and understanding of EU institutions and policies. Through our connection with JEF Europe, we offer exciting international opportunities such as seminars, training sessions, and EU institutional visits, allowing our members to engage with like-minded youths across Europe.

Our vision is rooted in the belief that a united and democratic Europe is key to securing a brighter future for all its citizens, and we are committed to being part of that journey. We believe that Europeans can achieve long-term peace and prosperity if they work together and see the continent as one community that benefits from its diversity. Furthermore, we want Europe to complete the integration process started after World War II and meet the challenges of the 21st century. We hope this development can be accompanied and followed by similar processes elsewhere, leading to a more peaceful, just and sustainable global order.
